Ok, so I was introduced to this limited time deal thing with Woot. Everyday, they have a new deal with limited stock. If you like it, you buy it, otherwise you wait for tomorrow.
Recently, I found one that was for biking (turns out later, its mountain biking specific). It's called Chainlove, and it has a new mtb-related deal every ~30 minutes (some bigger price tag items last longer, like 40 mins.)
Even more recently, I discovered Bonktown. It's like Chainlove, but it appeals to my inner Roadie (yay!). So whenever I'm bored, I check those two sites. And unlike Woot, I don't have to wait an entire day for a new surprise.
Also, some of those deals are pretty good. Well, maybe not woot so much, but the cycling ones. Especially bonktown. But maybe that's just my bias :P
So I got $140 yesterday, and I've decided I want to spend it on computer parts. I was undecided between a nice AGP card + some ram or a motherboard + processor + ram + GPU. The older technology actually costs more (wtf) and so it's not really worth it. Like 2gb of DDR ram is like $50 while 2gb of DDR2 ram is like less than $20. My GPU will be something along the lines of a 9500/8600. More updates later (when I actually purchase something).

Ok, just got finished paying off a $66 debt to Jasper today. And now with Chinese New Year coming up, I need to figure out what to spend my newfound money on. Two options:
1. Computers
I need a graphics card. I could get a ~$70 AGP crapish card or a ~$130 motherboard + processor + PCI-e graphics card. However, my current ram may not be compatible with the new motherboard, so that will run me up more money.
2. Bike
These Sora shifters suck. Upgrading that and getting it installed (unless it comes with cables, cuz then I can do it myself) will run me... I don't know, maybe ~$130 including installation? The reason I put this second is that I can still shift with these Sora shifters, but I can't run crap on anything in my house right now.
I think my list of priority is:
1. $130 computer combo
2. STI
3. Tiagra cranks (surprise!)
4. AGP card.
I had to think about that list for a couple minutes. :P
